I was 62 years of age, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I did not have any thought of writing a book about my experience.
I kept notes about all that I went through and how I felt each day.
After I started feeling better, I started writing about it in book form. Some days it would really tire me, but I managed to keep on going.
I thought if I wrote this book about me having breast cancer and tell people about it, it might help someone who is going through it now.
When you have this experience, it doesn't just affect you, but also your family members as well.
It can be rough on your spouse. They have to do so many things that they were not used to doing. Your spouse can feel so helpless.
The stress can affect both of you I am glad to report that I am doing fine now, and will continue to see my oncology doctor and other doctors on a regular basis. | |
